Job Opening: Technical Interior Designer
On behalf of Pissis Ltd operating in the industry of signage and furniture construction for commercial clients, we are looking to recruit a Technical Interior Designer to offer valuable addition to the documentation package of the various projects, for immediate employment for their offices in Nicosia.
Responsibilities:
- Develop designs and visual concepts for furniture and metal constructions
- Create detailed technical drawings based on product specifications, that are used by the manufacturing team to guide production.
- Modify and adjust existing designs/drawings to meet manufacturing constraints or customer requirements.
- Work closely with the production and procurement teams to ensure that designs are translated accurately into the final product.
- Calculate material/product quantities for each design, ensuring accurate estimation of resources and materials needed for production.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design and Engineering field.
- Strong proficiency in design software: CAD software (AutoCAD or similar), Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop etc).
- Understanding of furniture construction methods, materials, and technical design standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify design challenges and propose solutions.
